I hope they figure this out eventually

:
I, like many others on here, am a subscriber to the "old fashioned" snail mail version of Sports Illustrated. There is absolutely no way that SI or any other publisher can expect existing subscribers to pay these absurd prices.

Until there is a subscription model that actually makes sense, I will stick to the physical, tree-killing version.

Terrible subscription policy

:
I agree with others who think that subscribers to a magazine's online and/or print content shouldn't be forced to subscribe to the iPad content too... The Economist figured it out... Subscribers to their online or print edition get the magazine for free... Once SI does that, I'd be happy to read it on the iPad. You'd think they would have figured this out before launching the app...

Get With the Times SI!

:
Like others, I am incensed that SI thinks I'd buy a digital version of a paper product I've been getting since I turned 25.

But I'll take it one step further: I'm not renewing my paper subscription this year for the first time in over a decade until I can get a reasonably-priced digital version.

I'm tired of killing trees, then shipping them around the US in fossil-fuel burning trucks only to read them for a day then dump them in a recycling bin so another fossil-fuel burning truck can tote them away. I've moved all my magazines on to my iPad. The Economist, SKI, and Nat Geo all have iPad versions at subscription prices similar totheir paper analogs that have allowed me to do this.

Wassup SI? I thought like the nymphs in your Swimsuit Edition you were more dexterous than this!
